As a certified nonprofit credit counseling organization, ADC is licensed, bonded, registered and insured so clients receive the highest level of protection and service. Our certified credit counselors undergo continuous education to maintain their certifications and increase their knowledge of the credit counseling industry.

American Debt Counseling (ADC) is accredited to ISO 9001:2008 by BSI (Certificate number FS 93187) for the following scope:

The provision of customer service, payment processing, creditor relations, and financial education to consumers in accordance with the relevant parts of the Consumer Credit Counseling Code of Practice.
The management of credit counseling in accordance with the Consumer Credit Counseling Code of Practice.

Additionally, ADC's compliance department continually monitors the statutes and laws of the various states in which the organization is licensed. Compliance regulations are ever changing and it is the department's responsibility to keep up-to-date on the newest laws, amendments and revisions. Should there be a change or update in any of the laws, ADC responds to these changes by immediately implementing procedures ensuring prompt compliance with the requirements.
