With the hopes of inspiring consumers nationwide to shed their debt, the non-profit credit counselors at American Debt Counseling sent out a call to consumers to submit a funny and creative video portraying how they would feel if they were suddenly debt free, for a chance to win up to $5,000 to jump start their efforts.

Consumers responded with witty, creative and humorous videos, and three lucky winners were selected to receive the grand prize of $5,000, second place prize of $1,000, and third place prize of $500, all in the form of direct payments to their existing creditors.
